When I put this engine together about 5 years ago AFR recommended the 1250, saying nothing about it not fitting. This intake gasket fits perfectly it wasn't leaking until it shrunk and cracked.

Yes Tom, I tried a one way valve, it vents fine but it builds too much pressure. These tanks/fuel system really aren't designed to be pressurized. They are larger and more complex than a bike.

a little bit of runout isn't that bad, it helps knock the pads back so they don't rub the rotor when the brakes aren't applied. A visible amount is probably too much, like .010" approx max.
