347 will build more power, but the stress on the block is also greater. Be careful of building much over 400 HP with an OEM 302 block. They can split down the middle.

I think I would just have a Pitot tube on the front instead of the eye hook... Make the competition nervous! You could always thread the eye hook into the tube... ((Wink))

Given that the door configuration of a GT40 is such that each door is also roughly 1/3 of the roof, they don’t lend themselves well to roll cages that provide any appreciable torsional...

One of the things that I do with my coil over shocks is to install a 2” hose clamp, butted up against the spring adjuster.
If the car, for any reason, needs additional ground clearance we would jack...
