GTD40s for sale

Found three GTD40s for sale on www.race-cars.com/carsales/ford.htm.
Any comments?

Apart from the link not working (try /others.htm) doesn't £ 60000 sound rather stiff !

Tend to agree - All prices look way to high,
particularly when viewing detail photos.
All cars look ready for a strip and rebuild.

Like many GTDs, these are far from standard cars. They have been prepared for racing (in this case circuit) and have many significant modifications to the cars such as:

* Brodix aluminium heads
* Tilton pedal setups
* Rose jointed suspension
* Dry sumps
* Lightweight bodies
* AP Racing brakes
* Nascar carbs
* Fuel cells
* Koni dampers

etc

and put out more than 500 (real) BHP.

I would say that is one hell of a lot of car for that price. I have already invested that kind of money in my car and it is certainly not up to their spec yet.

Does anyone know of someone who wants a hi-spec GTD mark 1? Offers around 35K.
