Sludge and Oil Fittings

After 35 years I'm going to remove my dry sump tank this winter and really clean it out.
There is a layer of sludge on the bottom. I'm also going to repace my oil line fittings
as I recently saw a fitting that had cracked apart in a Ferrari F40 GTE. I'm not sure that you want to be retightening these forever.

Jim, how fast is the Mk4? JUst curious- it is faster than the new Ferrari, the Enzo?

Not to deviate from the thread...but is it just me or is the Enzo UGLY! Part of Ferrari's appeal is visual and I think they
blew this one big time.

In 1967 Bruce McLaren put J6 on the pole with a recorded top speed of 223. J6 would still qualify today!
IMHO the Enzo's side window design doesn't work and the front overhang(distance from center of front wheel to tip of nose) would make it very hard to drive on the street much less get into your driveway.
