Coast Performance ?

Hi everyone,

I am considering using Coast's crate 347 classic for my new GTD. Has anyone had any experience with them ? Still not sure if I should fit Weber 48IDF's or go for EFI ?

And has anyone got a this combination already set up on their 40?

See engine has a high volume oil pump. I would consider avoiding this bit and use a normal pressure pump, possibly a high pressure but not high volume. All personal choice as I am sure others will disagree with this! Also be good to have more info on sump dimensions to ensure you have appropriate clearances in engine bay.

PS EFI would be more manageable and driveable but 48's look the mutts nuts!

Coast has a good reputation here in the states. They are the only company (Coast/Probe) that I know that make a 347 piston that doesn't cross the oil ring land. A friend runs their 351 / 427 stroker kit and it is stout (~500hp) and reliable.

As for the mutt's nuts, what if he's fixed?
