Victor Jnr Heads

Can anyone tell me how I can expect Victor Jnr Heads to perform on a stroked 347.

Mainly for track use, but it will also be used on the road.

My main concern is having to drive through traffic. I want some, although limited, control at slow speeds. How much control am I likely to have?

Or would there be a better choice of head?

I build a lot of 347 engines with the VJ heads. I love them. Your car should have any problem on the street depending on your cam profile. We build many 450+hp daily driver 347's.

You been in my car JP and enjoyed that. I have been told that I may get more power if I changed to the victor junior head (currently running Dart 2 things) so you should be fine. It is a popular choice at present from what I hear and quite a few other club members run them.

The AFR series aluminum heads are popular and are all CNC ported thus producing a consistent and predictable flow numbers. Their flow figures are available on their web site. The heads come ready to install with springs, etc.
