Audi Gear Box

Hi Guys,question,will Porsche fifth gear cluster fit a Audi N5 case? What is the difference between per84 or 84 and later boxes? Does anyone know anything about 07 box from an 84 - 5000?

If the 5th-gear cluster is from a 944 box then, yes, it will fit.
