Weight of RF or similar

I'm not sure if this is the right part of the forum to ask this question, but what is a ballpark figure for a Roaring Forties GT40, with the 302 engine?
I should know this, but I honestly have no idea.

I believe Robert Logan has posted that the typical finished RF40 weighs in around 2,300 lb. Use the search feature to verify this.

The RF I had here was MoTec injected, aluminum head small block with A/C and the curb weight was right at 2250lbs.

FWIW my GTD (302) with iron heads, AC, 1/2 tank of fuel & all fluids weighed in at 1147 KG.

Julian,

She needs to go on a diet !!!!!

Our last two cars with 52 ltrs of fuel and all the bells and whistles were both at 1070kg.

I know the GTD cars and they are well built with strong chassis (factor of safety).

Yes, it's a very heavy car. I'm not sure how much weight I can save by changing ancilliaries & maybe removing air-con.

It appears most of the weight is built into the chassis & the rear deck.
