It lives !!!

Finally breathed life iinto the beast this week, another major stepping stone to a completed car.

I had a few delays due to a faulty coil and distributor, what a combination!!.
Many thanks to Frank Catt for his help in setting up the engine and to Roy Smart for suppling an MSD distributor and bringing it to my home.

Regards, Paul

Congratulations Paul, another GT40 birth!

I remember firing mine up for the first time, fire extinguisher in one hand, heart in the other!
It only gets better!!!!

It sure was nice to hear that 'V8 symphony' burst into life, it brings a whole new dimension to the car.

Just brakes to complete then SVA and paint.

I say complete but I have always been told that once the car is SVA'd it is only 90% finished as there is always development work to do. More expense! Oh well there goes next years holiday. Sorry Kay!!!
