450 HP & 418 ft/lb

Hi all,

My engine was dynoed last week. Made some good figures.

The Dyno was a Superflow.

Engine: Ford SVO stroked to 331ci, Victor Junior Heads with Jenvey Throttle Bodies and Motec M48 ECU.

449 HP at 6600RPM
418 ft/lb at 4800RPM

Nioe! Healthy motor with numbers that some of the stroked Windsors don't acheive. I really like to see small inch (<350) motors make good power. Is that a solid roller cam in there?

Yes it has a custom solid lifter cam. Sounds amazing too!

JP, remember that the more powerfull the engine the more noise it makes, and you need to get below 105 db to get onto Goodwood, start thinking silencers. Frank

Mark is on the case with a company that make some bloody amazing systems. All stainless, and they will make to a db limit. They currently make systems for TVR, Aston, Jaguar, Lotus etc.

They are all straight through systems. The entire system should cost about £1600.
