Hello All, We are pleased to announce that in conjucntion with Chris Melia, we are pleased to offer GT40MK2 as a component package and built by MDA.

After the phenominal success of the Goodwood Festival of Speed and the interest created by the 1966 Le Mans winners, we have set up our website to include the GT40MK2. Pictures can be seen at www.gt40uk.com/mk2gt40.html

Mark Two GT40 from MDA

We are showing the pictures of the Goodwood two's They are currently undergoing finishing work to be used for shows and events coming up in the near future. If anyone is interested inwhich shows please mail me as the list is lenghthy.

The Package will contain a full chassis and Mark Two body complete with the Snorkel air scoops and engine cover window panel. The rear window is part of the full kit being a slightly different shape and size and the Centre moulds have been adjusted to round off the upper door pillar areas.

Available as a body chassis package or in component package with all the parts to assemble or fully built if required. Left and Right hand options with a choice of gearshift positions and types. We offer the Renault gearbox with our standard Mark one packages, though the quaife modified internaled version would be a decent choice for less than 500hp motors, we now offer a chassis that will take, Hewland,ZF RBT, Audi, and Soon Porsche G50. Engine Choices for the MK2 would be 289.302,351W and 351C to 427. With little chassis modification it will accept the big blocks, if you must!

We offer the MK2 with European specification lighting with E approvals or for the USA market the Corvair rear lamps would be used. Either Knock on pin drive wheels and hubs with ally uprights in 15" 16" or 17". Adjustable suspension and rollbars.

Watch out for our website where the final touches are being made to the new MK2 pages. Soon to be announced is our new vehicle, details to follow in October.

thought it appropriate to bring this to the top as you seem to have forgotten what you have previously put in writing.

Just so there is no confusion I personally converted these three GTD's two from MDA and one from Simon Kelly.

Front bonnets

Hi Chris
Are you offering the MKII with the proper MKII front with the pronounced humps over the front wheel wells? This was to stop the wheels from hitting the bodywork when running at Daytona in 1966.
