Power Steering

Hi, I have never driven a GT 40 so I do not know how heavy the steering is. I was wondering if anyone had power steering fitted to their cars. Now I know you are all going to shout WIMP! but I want to think of everything before the build. I was thinking of an electical power steering rack. Any one got any thoughts on this subject?.

At a dead standstill, the steering is a bit tight, but once you are rolling, even at a crawl, it becomes very easy. Don't over complicate things! PS is unnecessary.

I used a 4 turn Pinto rack in my Cobra and swore I'd never do that again, you feel like your piloting a boat when turning the wheel, especially when parking. Using a 2.1 turn 240Z rack in my GT40 with the geometry set up to not turn quite as sharp.

GT40's are light in the front and if your scrub radius, caster, and kingpin axis inclination are optimum steering will be light.
