That is indeed the ultimate 289. It may cost more than my entire car- definitely close. Maybe the owner/builder will be kind enough to post the dyno results. It will be interesting to look at. Maybe the most expensive horsepower ever to come out of a 289 block, bar none.
Of course, you could just buy a couple of heads from an Enzo and use them for bookends for the same money....

I find it somewhat odd that someone's gone to all the trouble to build an engine with period-correct heads, but a new block...

I agree but after proposed a period Hi po block,my customer preferred a brand new block from FMS and cancelled the project,job is the same and probably more easy to sale

I am very interested to see how this combo works on the dyno. Please post results.

Of course should be on dyno mid february,expected 440 hp/380 torque
