Since this is my first post, a big hello to all members, both here in the UK and abroad and congrats on a v.impressive site.
Second, I am looking for a car, and the possibility of a GT40 is very appealing. I feel very drawn to the car since I am old enough to remember the GT40 at Le Mans, and appreciate it for its history, beauty and power. While I would love to take on a kit, I dont really have the time just now. So I am looking at completed and on the road replicas. I am an engineer, so a car which is not in pristine condition would be ok, and to be truthful, would suit my pocket more. Any comments, advice and offers gratefully accepted

Hi David.

I'm sure that if there are cars up for grabs in the UK then you will hear about them here. There may be a few discussed on recent posts on this forum that have not yet sold also. It's worth a look.

Cheers

Rob
PS Excuse the question but what's a Vibration Specialist?

Thanks Rob, I work with rotating machines, mainly pumps, because I work for a pump manufacturer, but also Gas and Steam Turbines, Generators etc. Design, development and problem solving associated with external and internal (shaft) vibration of equipment. So if it shakes, or worse, shakes and breaks you'll find me there scratching my head /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif and trying to find out why.
