Inlet manifold - rear water hose ?

I'm building up a 302 with a performer inlet manifold that only has the water way at the front. On the rear it just blocks off the exits on the heads. I'm sure I've read somewhere of people fitting pipes to the header tank to release trapped air. will I run into overheating problems without this as it looks a bit complex to do????
I'm in London UK could I get this done somewhere?? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Thanks fellas. Dave's site is the one I saw a while ago and didn't bookmark it. I'm going to have to find a local machinist who can do this as I haven't got a pillar drill or mill. Any suggestions - I'm in Molesey by Hampton Court.
