MK IV model (with a brain)

Cool programmable MK IV game. I remember these from when I was a boy, although I had a Chrysler Charger. Can't be many left like this.

there are numerous offers for this Amaze-A-Matic toy cars on eBay. The one mentioned is a little expensive for my opinion - I have 4 or 5 of them which I bought for $5.00 up to $20.00.

Main problem with this models is, that the rubber cylinder which feeds the program cardboard is hardened out and cracked, so it doesn't work or not as it should. If you want to replace it by a "Do it yourself" construction you have to take apart the whole gear box....And the main cogwheel sitting at the electric engine is often missing - so take care if you intend to buy one that it's complete!

But if they work they are really nice - and you can find some astonished faces around if you tell people how old this cars are.
