unknown gt 40

hi my name is John.S i have a gt40 fiberglass shell mounted to a vw chassis the problem is i want to have a better and stronger chassis for a ford v8 engine mounted in the rear of the car the shell is of unknown to me but if it helps anyone it has no front air dam far as i know it was made in the early 70s my question is where or who in the U.S can make or provide me with a chassis sincerly newbie John.S [email protected]

It's probably not what you want to hear, but for the most part, the early VW based GT40 "look a likes" were not
close dimensionally to the current excellent crop of tube
frame GT40 replicas. If you really want a tube frame V8
GT40 replica, best bet is to sell your car and start
from scratch. Nothing from a VW based kit would fit or
work on a current tube frame car. Sorry.
