Great site ! Thanks.
Long story, but the GT40s changed my life at Le Mans in '65.
Been racing lunatic historic Morgans since 1970.
Had a Brian Pepper GTD40 1994-97.
Seriously in the market for a very good GT40 so I can do a bit of competition "indoors".
Not in a rush because, as stated, I will wait for the best.
Would consider having one turnkey.
I sure am glad I found this site though.

Welcome, Barry. I don't think you'll have to wait too long because there seems to be a pretty good turnover of good GT40 replica cars, especially on that little island you live on. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Barry, I always thought that things on three legs were more stable than those on four, but you picture looks wild.

good on you Barry. Very nice! I am considering a similar colour scheme, red with silver "gulf" stripes. Could i trouble you to post a couple of side & rear photos? It would help with my decision.

I know this car's history from Frank and the previous owner's passion to get the best GTD40 for track purposes.

Red with gold stripes is the Alan Mann Racing team colors. The scheme was used on Ford Cortinas, Escorts, GT40s, and the F3L.

That 3-wheeler Morgan looks like a bathtub full of laughs. I wonder if the Grinnall Scorpion handles on 2 of it's 3 wheels at the limit hehe.

I have a Gulf coloured GT40 for sale.
Really sorry to part with it though....
replica of jacky icxx 1969 winning car 1075 (number 6) - all the same decals and colour scheme.

Featured in edition 20 of South African street and track.
