Bulkhead Window Cut Out

Gentlman, I am at the point of fitting my rear bulkhed and want to make sure that I measure and cut correctly for this part.

My question is, how much larger than the screen itself is the cut it fits into. In other word how much extra space is allowed for the weather stripping.

I have a second question concerning the weather stripping itself. I have 2 pieces of weather stip, one large that seems to have a grove thats fits both the glasss and the supporting metal. and a second piece that resembles a flattened T. My question is which one is correct for the bulkhead window.

Thanks in advance

Measure the thickness of the gasket slot. The thickness of the material between the glass and the fiberglass bulkhead is the measurement you will need to add to the hole you want to cut. This is about 1/4 inch all around. Measure twice cut once.
