6 speed sequential ricardo transmission

Spotted the following. Magnesium £8000.

be careful i'm told magnesium has a shelf life so if its old walk away as it would be very brittle and ££££££s to replace

Magnesium is fine if it has been looked after. If left to the elements it will oxidise quite quickly. Just needs a good wax once and elbow grease. BUT. If it has been left it can quickly go bad. Both sets of my wheels are made from cast Magnesium, Jongbloed recommend coating them with a good quality wax. You can always have Magnesium x-rayed for cracks etc,
