I remember 'Kevin' showing me this car in 1992, when he was overhauling it for Ford Swansea, in readiness for some promotional work. It then went back in the museum I believe. It was indeed a nice looking GT40, but has curiosity value rather than performance. I believe I have the last KVA ever made. It didn't get a chassis number, I didn't even get a receipt. It was the last body/chassis that 'Kevin' produced before he retired to warmer climes and sold the business, complete with the two previous chasses. I had to pick mine up from the boatyard. I still have the 1966 4V 289 engine in my garage taking up space that I bought from 'Kevin' at the same time. When he said he was off sailing indefinitely, I said "Well you won't be needing that V8 over there then". And so, I even have his last engine, which is now for sale.
