Just posted as information. I have no knowledge of the seller or his wares. But it does seem quite a good price!

Thanks, the worry particularly in view of his e-mail address is that it could be a prethrashed, half knackered unit discarded from a race car. Have e-mailed him anyway.

The biggest problem is that I'm 12,000 miles away. There isn't anyone one on this forum located in or near Lydney, Gloucestershire which is where the trans is, by any chance?This is going to take some organising.
