Is anybody going to this event? I assume some of the RF guys will be there? I'll be there on my trusty CB750 K2, but it would be nice to bump into some GT40's too!

I managed to get down on the Saturday only, but it was a great event including a couple of original 40's. One of them creamed the rest of the field in its category.
I got a couple of shots of some cars (not the GT40 though)with the phone camera which are a bit fuzzy (sorry) so I'll try and attach them here.

I went on the Saturday morning, straight of the plane from the UK
I was also impressed with the number of mint looking racing Alfa's there. The 2 GT40's looked excellent as did the Lola, I also like the RS200 which is a personal favorite of mine.

The Black GT40 was interesting and had a lot of money spent on it.

A good day out all round.

The black GT40 is an RF and was the first (I believe) customer car built by the factory. If I'm not mistaken, it recently changed hands from the previous (original) owner who had made many modifications from the recognised RF build process. By all accounts a very quick car with a racing engine.
