This is the same ZF that Russ posted earlier. Before bidding, read the other (slightly older) thread. Caveat Emptor.
I have no clue if there is anything for sure wrong with the tranny or the seller. But a bidder was offered a second chance on this transaxle when it didn't reach its reserve the first time around and he felt something was "funny" about the deal.
Also, I notice that there is only one bidder on this piece even though it has been posted for nearly a week. The Pantera boys are a pretty tight group; any one of which would be glad to have a spare tranny if nothing else. Their obvious lack of interest would seem to say something as well. Bottom line: DO YOUR HOMEWORK on this one, unless you have more money than sense.
