Guess who is getting married

I'm sure some people thought I would be a bachelor for the rest of my life...

Getting married this Sunday to a wonderful woman. Well she lets my have a GT40, can't get much better than that. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Going to be a simple/low key ceremony on Gold Coast at park next to Main Beach. Then reception at Surf Club next door.

Been so busy organising stuff, it really hasn't sunk in yet.

Then off to New Zealand for 2 weeks for honeymoon and break. Going to a driving holiday around the south island.

Anyway, any advice guys before I tie the knot. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I hope she won't turn into a nag like my wife. She's constantly complaining that I don't take her for rides in the interesting cars often enough. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Been happily married for a mere 5 years this May, and been
together for a total of 8. Don't regret it a bit, especially
since she is behind me 100% in my quest to get a 40 ...

I would say if you need to take Viagra on your honeymoon you might want to keep looking /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif

My wife & I have been together for 25 years and she is the best thing that ever happened to me (most of the time) She even bought the Camaro for me. The GT 40 took a bit of bribing to get that deal done. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

My partner already drives the GT40 and I'm keen for her to take it out on the track. She certainly takes a more active involvement in decisions and working on it now that she drives it. Just took a couple of car park driving lessons to get used to it and to get her confidence up. She has actually driven it more than I have, only because I've been sick. That's got to change. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Do keep in mind that the old adage about marriage being a 50/50 proposition is an absolute, bald faced lie.

It really requires 100/100 to have a chance at working and even then it no simple task, but very much worth the effort when both parties are totally committed to it.
