glass fibre body moulds

If I wanted to make a mould to produce fiberglass bodies from a bodyshell I already have (NOT a GT40 I hasten to add) is this a job I could tackle? Is it a seriously professional/expensive task?
Any pointers/website greatly appreciated.
thanks

Simon

Sorry,
I meant to include in the post that it's not strictly GT40 related, but hoped that the GT40 pool of knowledge could help me out. Hope nobody minds.

If you wait a month I can tell you how it went, and I have no fibreglass experience at all, may make it a good indicater. (I am working with someone else though who does).

Hi you want to get a book called
How to build fibreglass hotrods, customs & kit cars by Tex Smith ISBN 1-884089-10-0
This book covers all things fibreglass including making molds. I have no involvement with the book just own a copy and it has helped me alot.

hi simon
working in this field for a long time now, yes you would most certainly need a good knowledge of fibreglass, yes its very time consuming and yes very expensive. send me a mail if you need some pointers
