Following recent news about the new Mini convertible perhaps it comes as no surprise to learn that the Ford GT has also been banned by the Driving Standards Agency. In both cases it is reported that poor rear vision is the reason.
Rumour had it that BSM (the British School of Motoring) had placed deposit on Ford GT recently up for resale, in the hope of enticing the likes of Brooklyn Beckham and other celebrity off-spring to their services. An unofficial spokesperson for BSM said the idea was now being moth-balled.
The Driving ‘double’ Standards Agency was approached as to why other top marques (e.g. Ferrari) were not on the list considering similar concerns must exist, however no-one was available for comment.
