That is a pretty color combination. Has this car seen any track use recently and is their any footage of it?

Whereabouts in France, is this part of the "Sport Collection" thats doing the rounds on some of the French circuits.

Tour de France Classic is held every year and normaly has 4 circuit races and about 6 timed sections (hill climb). Field being "competition" and "regularity" each split into classes. Up till three years ago we saw upto 4 GT40 and they were winning. Changes in the regulations now givez Lotus Elans first place. This year the only GT40 McAlliser/Bishop finished second in class (Group G before 13/12/'65) a Porsche 906 taking first. They also got a price foe having complated the tour without any assistance!
µThey were running Indiana number plate "GT40" and dispite extensive liasons on public roads in full race trim!
Very annimated compation with Porsches 906, 910 etc, Ferrari Daytone (4 off compatition versions) 250LM to mention just some of the 100 entries.
See: http://www.tour-auto.com/tourauto2005/fr/etape_jour.asp?jour=samedi&ta=galerie for further images, video's etc.of this very enjoyable event. These guys don't give each other an inch when the flag is down!!! What a way to tour!!!
