Wow! Compomotive has had a huge price increase!

Guys,

I'm looking for a pair of 8" wide x 17 and a pair of 12" wide by 17" wheels with a 4.5" backset (measured rim to the back side of the center disk) on Corvette bolt circle (4.75")

I have Compomotive HB5s on my Cobra ... but they are for a Ford bolt circle. I like the wheels very much.

Compomotives HB5s used to be $1950 and are now listed at $2300 at the USAComp.com site. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Anyone have a recommendation for a less expensive approach to the wheel problem? Am in the USA.

The team 3 wheel comes with a cover now that hides the lugs, 4 wheels and fake spinners runs about $1400.
