Brian Redman International Challenge 2005

How not to start a race ... a few images from yesterday at the BRIC weekend. Not sure how it happened or if there was anyone badly hurt, but apparently the emergency services did a fantastic job.

Thankfully no one was seriously hurt. Rumor has it that the flag man wanted to slow the start and the back of the field accelerated anticipating the fore runners had taken off.

I was there but on the opposite side of the track when this happened. Apparently there was a fist fight that broke out shortly after the pile up. A GREAT event but a pity this happened.
