Is there a headliner used in RF-40 turnkey cars?

I'm wondering if anyone that has a turnkey RF-40 can comment on how the inside of the roof (the headliner) is finished (or unfinished), or perhaps how those with kits have treated this part of the build.

Thanks!

In case anyone else is interested, Hershal let me know today that the doors and the spyder are doubled - i.e. there is an inner panel and an outer panel. The inside panel is not upholstered. The original cars were not upholstered on the roof.

Hi AL, if you dont know this already , the inner roof panels have a "pebbled grain" finish to them. Also RF then paints them in a gloss black. Some folks have sanded the pebble grain surface look off them, like I think Hersh has. Others paint a lower gloss . Hope this helps, If you need a pic of what the surface looks like in my car delivered late last July just ask,, I'll shoot a pic and post. Take care , Dan /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
