CAV in Las Vegas

There is another CAV on eBay. It is located at Shelby Automobiles Inc. in Las Vegas, NV.

It has a 302 with an Audi transaxle. It is said to have 2155 miles on it and bidding is at $50,200 with 13 bids and 5 days remaining.

From the VIN number listed, this is a space frame car, not a monocoque. In case anybody cares...

Yes, the posting says that it is a space frame car. He also says it has A/C and true GT40 style knock off wheels. (well they are Halibrands anyway - Lynn)

Auction has some hype like "a state of the art replica" and "the body is an exact copy of the original racers." But, it does look like a nice car.

The car didn't sell. Bidding went to $55.1K but didn't make the reserve. Although, it says the guy lowered the reserve.
