I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to all of you and introduce myself. I've been reading the forum for several years, and the quality of the information and sense of community are both great.
I'm 36 and I've been a club-level road racer for 16 years--mostly driving 4 cylinder imports both FWD and RWD. I decided to either build a GT40 kit or buy some sort of "fast" car several years ago and started saving up. On an engineer's salary, this takes commitment. Reading the posts from owners and manufacturers along with a factory visit helped me to decide that an ERA GT was the right car for me, and I gave Peter my deposit about a year ago.
