Difficult question - its supposed to have been built in the early 90's with authorised chassis numbers using existing parts as part of a batch of three - I guess its eligible for continuity FIA papers if nothing else - others may feel better able to comment

"supposed", "rumoured", "believed" ... are rarely used to discribe an orignal car.

The estimate seems crazy !

The Jack Sears Cobra 39 PH.........in Willment colours failed to sell at the same auction.
Reached £625,000 though...............but this was some £200,000 under estimate.
Apparently there is negotiation going on..................
