body fitting

This may or may not help some .
It may have been posted in the past I havnt seen it but anyway.

I have been fitting up body work on my RF one thing I realized very early is when you have all the body fitted up & you want to make an adjustment on the rear spider legs & door hinges if the nuts turn you will need to remove the sill panels & fuel tanks to get at them.

Which will be worse when its in paint & you are wanting to make small adjustments.
I have taken a pic of the lower hinge plate I made.
I also made them for the upper hinges & rear spider legs.

I taped m8 threads into 10mm alloy plate.
I went to M8 bolts to give enough scope to move them around ,the hole in the middle is 10mm.
I drilled & taped an m5 into the frame in the centre of the 10mm hole & fitted a screw with a large washer & locktite it in the frame but left the screw loose enough for the plate to move around for adjustment.

When you take the bolts out the plates stay there because the m5 screw & washer holds it up.

Hope it helps.
