Hey guys I have a Renault UN1 5-speed that used to be mated to a Lexus 1UZ. I'm looking at getting an LS1 engine wuth about 500hp. Do you think I shoudl get another gearbox for this task? (I'm assuming everyone will say yes to that question) SO I'm looking at 3 other boxes. The 6 speed Porsche 911, the 6 speed Porsche Boxster S, and the Audi 01E. DO you think these boxes will hold up under road racing conditions as I will NOT be drag racing or is that even too much to ask out of these boxes.
Also, I will probablly end up selling my UN1 and clutch. The box was just rebuilt and is 100% perfect. I have pictures of the internals to show the perfect condition of the box. If any one is interested then please email me at [email protected]. I can ship it anywhere you need.
