Rover V8 to Renault UN1 mating

All,
Advice needed, please, on mating a Renault UN1 to a Rover V8.
We know this can be/has been done.
But various manufacturers are either reluctant to give supply dates, or a price, or quote riduculous prices. We'd rather make our own than pay that money!

Anyone suggest a supplier who won't charge the earth/promise and not deliver?
Or supply some plans?

Thanks
John

PS Ooops - Sorry should have said - we're UK-side. J.

Hi John

Speak to Chris Cole of Mach 1 transmissions, he has several in stock, supplied as complete kits they come with clutch arm, release bearing and all fixings.

When I spoke to him he said he would be happy to let them go pretty much 'at cost', but they are still fairly costly.

Chris can be reached on 01952 222155

Further advice please

All,
Bell problem solved, thanks to local GT40 oqner, upgrading to a Ford engine.

Now, need advice re: Rover flywheels, please.

We need a clutch cover to fit the SDI flywheel, but it was a loose spare from a scrapper, as the Range Rover clutch is too big for the bell. But there are two part nos. listed, for SDIs of different year ranges - and we have no idea which this SDI 'wheel came from.

Any idea how to identify/what the difference is between the two SDI 'wheels?

Thanks,
John & Jon
