Elkhart Vintage Races 2006

The caption on the Event Poster said. "When Excess Was Barely Adequate"
Having missed Can Am by a couple years, I'm counting my blessings to have gotten a glimse of what really happened. These orange monsters weren't spooled up quite as much as Bruce and Denny but there were a few that were close. Thanks to all involved for a fantastic race meeting.

Now that is just a bit funny.

The first picture I noticed in your batch of pictures was the one with Dennis Gage getting into the 1965 Causey C6 Special. I took a very similar picture at about the same time!

So I took a look at the rest of your pictures and sure enough, you got a picture of me in the batch! In the picture P1011832.JPG, that's me on the left part of the picture in the red ball cap and white t-shirt (with a cartoon looking 917).

What a small world!

I ran out of room on my camera then deleting some to make more room the battery died. Oh well that was the only thing that was going to tear me away from the Paddock to go watch some racing.
