'67 TV Advert

The September issue of Motor Sport (UK) has an article about Shell shooting a TV advert in 1967 using GT40s at Monza.

I haven't yet read the article, but it sounds interesting (but they get a couple of details wrong (four cars were transported on trailers behind Ford vans, not a single lorry load of three cars)).

Ford GT40 going cheap

I liked the bit at the end of the article where JWA wanted to sell off the GT40's at £1500 each because it would be expensive to get them back to England. But they got no purchasers since the author of the article said "who wants to pay for a Ford V8 and some fibreglass."
