Alignment Specs - Street and Track

After reading a couple of threads by Ross and others realtive to alignment settings, I thought it might be useful to us RCR owners what specs we should be running on our cars for the street and the track. I think we need to define:

Front
Toe in
Camber
Caster

Rear
Toe-in
Camber
Caster

As people use various settings and tire/wheel combinations, they can add their results here for the help of us all.

Surely that's a question for Fran? He will know his design criteria, and presumably has recommended settings?

There is no definitive setting that will work for everyone and every situation ...if there were...all production/race cars would look and drive the same ......and we all know there is no chance of that ........but here is a good place to start for an RCR....your results may vary

Front
Toe in 30 minutes
Camber -20 to -30 minutes
Castor 5-6 deg

Rear
Toe-in 20 minutes
Camber -10 to -20 minutes
Castor 5-7 deg

1 Deg = 60 minutes...

Ride height at Front axle CL 4 1/2 inches
Ride height at Rear axle CL 5 1/2 inches

Hope this helps.....

Thanks Fran. That's what I was looking for - a starting point from which we can experiment and post our results.
