Umm the foreign objects I was speaking of were anything from Tire debris (tire turds thrown off of other cars) that end up coming into the car from any number of places such as open side windows, etc. The same with chunks of asphalt, sticks,
cr@p dragged into the car on the driver's shoes etc.. Not really anything to do with parts falling off the racecar..
I've probably got 6 spools of lockwire at any one point in time in addition to Nylocs, Cotter-Keys, Loc-Tite, Zip-Ties, etc etc... The cars are Nut-n-bolted from one end to the other before every race - no exceptions.
Which is how I took teams to the front - by getting them to finish the races first..
