Hey Fred, those are nice cars there! Please bear in mind if you don't have GD's permission to post those, or didn't take them yourself, then technically they are illegal to put on the site. Everything on GT40s.com must be owned by the poster, or the poster must have permission to attach them. Just trying to avoid trouble with anyone that might take issue with the pictures.

Does anybody know how the measurements on GD T70 is compared to RCR or an original car? Somehow it seems shorter and higher.
And from a personal view i find the red body with a white arrow not as good lookin´on GD as on the original "surtees" Lola.
Still, the build quality seems to be outstanding...

The GD cars are over 4 inches narrower...

We have original dimension Lola bodies and also the narrower GD style bodies available...

Here are some pics of the narrow body....same as Ron Earp.

I am sure that Andy at GD will be fine with his images being posted here. Ill ask him to contact you if it is not OK

For interest the red lola is fitted with a ls7, kinsler , produced 550 hp out of the box, porsche 6 speed,

its first outing was at goodwood a couple of weeks back, and whilst being "run in gently" was spinning wheels through 4th down the straight.......

Ron - If I am out of order, please deleat the post.

Is anyone prepared to answer this question for me?

How far does the body at the bottom of the front clip go back under the nose? You would have be be under the car to see, or looking at a front clip upside down. If you were to hook a tape measure into the bottom of the rad intake opening, and pull it under the car, what would the dimension be where the bodywork ends.

Cheers

Should have noticed that but didn't. We can link to about anything, but not attach and host anything. These are not attached here and are fine. Sorry about that.

In the meantime for those of you what lies underneath the Lola replica...............

and by the way, the red gd car is "straight out of the moulds" ............no body prep, no flatting, no paint.

GENTELMEN: See picture of "one-off" LOLA. White one is on far right in shop. This car is combination of three (3) bodies. Note how much longer (over-hang) the front end is (from MIIIb) and balanced with MIIIb rear-type ass-end..
