New RCR kit price

In today's business climate, having a great product is
only half of the puzzle to growth and success. The
other half is great customer relations.

RCR prides itself on customer satisfaction. I have
been listening to the many requests and comments of
our clientele.
Based upon consumer inquiry and demand,
I am pleased to announce a lower price structure for
our Deluxe Plus line kits.

As each purchase is as individual as the buyer, some
building strictly track cars while others building
road vehicles, I have made some adjustments to the
Deluxe Plus kits.

The price of the Deluxe Plus RCR40 kit has been reduced
from $41,995 to $39,995. The following components are
no longer included in the Deluxe Plus kit allowing our
customers to customize his/her car.

1. RCR headers
2. RCR custom air conditioning system
3. Rear axles
4, Parking brake

RCR will still offer the above components to those
customers wishing to purchase them.

This new price structure will serve two purposes.

1. It will allow each customer the freedom to build
and/or source the above items if they so desire;

2. The components will still be available for purchase
through RCR and can be purchased at a later date
providing the customer with a lower initial kit
purchase price.

This new pricing structure will take effect July 1, 2007.

What will the cost be to have those 4 items included? I would assume the previous deluxe plus price, however it is not always good to ass/u/me. I am probably safe to say everyone appreciates such a quality product you put out and the flexibility you offer. Keep up the good work.

I think this is a positive move for RCR and potential customers.
The ability to purchase some options ala'cart is a good thing..

I am still waiting to get a price brakedown on those 4 items. Is this a chance to buy a few items at a marginaly higher price at a later time or just a cover up for a price increase on a kit?

Hello Jay,
Allowing each customer to customise their own kit will allow them to control the price of their project and allow each the freedom to build their car their way...pricing on individual parts will be dependent upon the spec of that specific part.
For example....nothing has changed on our standard header package....or the price of our upgrade for non-302 headers.....

If you plan on buying an RCR car feel free to give me a call and we can discuss your personal spec....:D..I dont know how much of an RCR will work on a GOX mono though.

Good morning.

I have had a couple of emails overnight asking about driveshafts/headers etc.

One of the reasons for the "option" on driveshafts is with new transaxles from ZF-Q, TMT, Gearfox, Mendeola etc etc....it is becoming too time consuming and expensive to have small quantities manufactured,

Headers...
again with the progression of raise port heads, 8.7, 8.9, 9.2 deck heights there are far too many variables for us to be able to furnish, from stock all these variations.
As previously, we can certainly build headers to custom fit just about anything and at reasonable cost, so long as we have the engine in house and mounted in the RCR chassis of choice.

Hope this helps out a little with the reasoning behind the change.

All in all by purchasing potential custom components individually the increase in price is in the order of 5%

So there should be no problem with the Studebaker Engine install? I mean with the headers.
