Because he forgot what race cars on the street are like....uncompromising...he had a Lola way back in his youth...

He also lacks the personal time/space/ability to work on his own car from time to time...and as we all know these cars are a hobby not a build it and forget experience...

Or, maybe he'll post the "Top 3" changes he'd make to the specs he submitted to Fran for this build - given what he knows now.
