Cobras On Highway One (CH1) - Sept 25,26,27 2008 in Aptos CA, Monterey Peninsula
If any of you here on gt40s.com with GT40s, Ford GTs, or Cobras or Daytona Coupes are anywhere near Monterey CA on Sept 26/27, feel free to join up with us on our drives down and up the California Highway1 coast on either Friday or Saturday. The main group get-together consisting of NorCal and former WSCB attendees are staying in Aptos/CA and we'll be doing our get-together and main drives on Friday and Saturday. This is just a last minute heads up to anyone who might be in that area and want to drop in. Feel free to send an email to [email protected] to let us know if you plan to meet up with us somehwere along the way. This is our last late summer weather get-together before the holidays and winter set in.
Basic Drives:
Friday 10a.m. - departing Aptos, headed SOUTH on Highway1 through Monterey to Big Sur, stopping, heading back up into Carmel Valley, stopping at Baja Cantinas for lunch in the afternoon around 2pm, and back to Aptos by 5pm or so. ..
Saturday 10a.m - departing from Aptos, CA, headed NORTH on Highway1 through Santa Cruz, stopping at Pescadero for lunch, then continuing up to Half Moon Bay and returning to Aptos in the afternoon. Bondfire on the private beach at 8pm.
No formal schedule or plans with this group, we are just getting together, driving the cars and hangin' out together. DC
