Hey Mike,

Patricia Cenora was my mother. She died just over 9 years ago. She had a breast cancer tumor that was removed and replaced with a silicon implant to be balanced again. Soon after the implant leaked triggering lupus and after 104 surgeries and 14 years later of suffering she passed Aug 31st 1999.

My Mother loved cars and race cars. She even met my father at Orange County Raceway in 1971 where my dad raced frequently at the 1/4 mile track. She was always a sucker for a hot car. Even during her illness, my mother always had compassion for children in hospitals and the homeless. With the financial burden of an estimated 3 million dollar medical tally and a father who couldn’t keep a job because he had to take her to the hospital, she always found some way to help others even when we didn’t have what we needed in our own home.

9 years later, I now own my own business and now have the power and means to pay tribute to a women who gave when she herself had nothing financially and faced certain death. I have always wanted to honor her life and the compassion she had for others when they were less fortunate that us. Today, I live that legacy with a genuine compassion for others in need.

As mentioned before, all toys will be donated to St. Jude Hospital in Fullerton and the Ronald Mc Donald House in Orange. The canned food will be donated to local homeless shelters in and around Fullerton CA. Lastly, my associate (Voss Performance - whom many have had your GT40's worked on) his daughter is in need of another leg surgery as she was born without a tibia. The monetary funds raised will help with the cost to fly him and his family back east to the specialty hospital where his daughter gets her care.

So in closing, this memorial is to pay tribute to a life my mom wished she was able to live.

Thank you for reading.
