Sl-c arrived!

Reuhle's Auto Transport showed up this morning with my SL-C.
As we rolled it out of the transporter, I almost wet myself! Got some pic's to post later today if I can tear myself out of the garage that long.
My worry was ground clearance while pushing it up my driveway. It went with no problems over the 10 degree "hump".

A few parts backordered, should not hold up the build at all. All essential
components arrived safely. I'm still removing tape from the bodywork!

Hang in there, more to come.

Congrats! Hopefully you have some vacation time saved up. I know I had the hardest time concentrating at work for days after my car arrived.

Pics will be greatly appreciated.

It's a great feeling the day the car is home in the garage Jack.

I would not be too concerned about the backordered parts. Chuck told me very early in my build that Fran has a way of getting the parts to you just before you need tham as to not hold up the build; and and my experience has been that Chuck was right.

Have fun and POST PHOTOS.

FRIGGIN SWEET MAN!!! I knew it was about time so I checked this area and saw this post. Good stuff!! Can't wait to see it. I'd bet we don't hear from him for at least 2-3 hours. LOL I know I'd be rubbing all over that car getting a feel for every part of it.

Awesome news and, yes, we need pictures.

been busy rubbing my body all over it.......
nothing missing that will effect my build time significantly.
Guess I'll be posting only in the late evening for awhile!

Now if my neighbors will leave me alone.............

Thanks guy's

If I lived close, I'd be over there every day helping out. LOL

As far as rubbing your body all over it... Are you using baby oil, 5w-20, or Turtle Wax? LOL

just spoke with Fran. It seems that a box full of parts did not make it on the truck.. I'll have them tomorrow. Only thing missing will be drive axles and
aircon parts from the vendor.
So, some good news again today..

Jack..

What about K-Y Jelly (edit--I see I'm not the first to have this idea......)??? I "hear-tell" it's a great lubricant, and if I were rubbing my body all over an SL-C that might be the "reaction" I were hoping for!

Congratulations, Molluer! The journey begins! Looking forward to the build thread! In the meantime, enjoy that "contact" with the new "mistress" :)
