I am researching different transaxles

does anyone know about using a Audi 5000-01 e that comes from a 2005 or later car that is an s4 v-8 Audi would this work well for the GT-40

Welcome to the forum, I'm sure that your question has been asked before, so please do use the search facility as there has been loads posted on transaxles and various Audi options.

Can I suggest that you introduce yourself a little more, eg the area you are from, your interests and perhaps what project you are planning. Do you already have a 40 chassis in mind or are you scratch building?

There is a massive wealth of information on here and the residents are mostly welcoming and friendly so a little more input on your part would likely elicit a greater response.
