Spa historic race 2004. This is excellent: No commentary, no music or artistic impressions, just some great sounding beautiful sports racing cars.

Some observations:

Do those Ford f3Ls look great or what?!

The best looking Lola T70s have a ground clearance of about 1/2 "

Porsche 917s have a sinister exhaust note timbre.

It would be great fun to pilot a Porsche 908/3 I'm sure.

At 3:05 a yellow GT40 appears with a formed in NACA duct in the side window. I like!!

I think Mario won in a Ferrari over McQueen and Revson in the closing laps.

The JWA GT40 did. Chassis number 1075. Driven by Ickx and Oliver.

Yup, against all odds it was Ickx/Oliver that won in a JWA GT40 - it's hard to tell at the end of the You Tube vid clip, but that's how it finished up. The porsches and ferraris had more power and were more sophisticated cars by '69 than the GT40 but the '40 kicked butt by being steadfastly reliable and completely bullet proof (relatively speaking).
