Carslile photos?

Oops, I knew I forgot something. I should've taken some pix, was too busy drooling over the SL-C. I don't think pictures would do it justice, anyway. You have to see it in person to appreciate all that engineering marvel and attention to detail it offers. And, did I tell you about the sound that LS7 makes with sidepipes? I'm not a fan of sidepipes on a Viper, but the LS7 sounded sweet (it has catalytic converters).

Fran, thank you for making the trek so we local yocals can experience your creations in a flesh. I sure enjoyed our conversation.

Here are some pics from the weekend of the new Nemesis......
Stock Hayabusa engine with 185 hp...all up weight ready to drive is 1098lbs...
Car will accomodate upto a 6'4" driver (with helmet) and has adjustable steering and pedal mounts...no tools needed....

Looks really good!

So now that the Nemisis has its Zukun Plan derived body work will we be seeing any of the Zukun body work for the SL-R? The cycle fenders are perfect for both so that part is clearly done. I know that RCR already has bodywork for the SL-R but if body work matching the Zukun renderings was made it would get me a lot closer to placing an order for an SL-R.

Trevor,

Zukun and I are working together on other concepts non RCR related too...

We have been working on concepts for the SL-R, should they ever come to fruition then the SL-R as we know it will no longer be available....and that means price point too....
The potentially revamped SL-R will retain the chassis but be offered with higher spec components throughout....and have vacuum, thermo formed panels ....

I am really pleased with my choice of materials for the Nemesis, I first used Vacuum forming on a project I did with Coca-Cola and NASCAR last year and since then have wanted to impliment it into bodypanels....voila...the Nemesis.

Mucho-Droolage.....

Are the suspension mounts going to be adjustable on the Production Model?

Randy,

they are not adjustable...they are replaceable in the event of dinging a corner...without any fabrication...

If you want to change your camber gain etc etc ...do it on the upright..its modular.

Now that Fran has covered his new baby....there were other cars at Carlisle too....

Ron, Jeff and Doug had their RCR cars there....

I only had my camera pointing at 40's, I guess there were other types of cars there, they didn't get my attention except for the SL-C (especially when Fran fired it up!).

Notice how the first picture of Ron's car seems to be going to the light? It must be a speed thing even though it is sitting still.

Fran,

Doug is the "street rodder" turned loose on a 40. I love it when guys step out a do stuff different then the rest of the pack! I loved that engine stuffed in there, I can't wait to hear it fired up some time!

Cheers,
Howard

It sounds really tough....
Doug said he will meet Ron on the highway sometime and he said...."his time is coming"....they live pretty close to one another...

Ooooops, I guess I missed the loading button on the other post...I'll try again.
